Convrail for WooCommerce

The Convrail plugin connects your WooCommerce store in three steps: connect the store, paste your OpenAI credentials, and let products sync. The pixel is added to the footer, paid orders are pushed once with the attribution captured at checkout, and the catalog is synced in batches. Validation, batching, retries and feeds run on the Convrail platform, not on your server.

Setup

  1. Install and activate the plugin

Requires WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage.

  2. Connect the store

In WooCommerce, open Convrail and click Connect. The plugin registers your store with the bridge and stores a scoped token.

  3. Paste your OpenAI credentials

Your pixel ID and Conversions API token, from the OpenAI Ads Manager. They are validated live and stored encrypted on the platform, not in your WordPress database.

  4. Let the catalog sync

Products are pushed in batches of 50 on each cron tick until the full catalog is synced, then kept current.

What the plugin does on your site

ComponentBehaviour
PixelFooter script: captures oppref from the landing URL into a first-party cookie, fires browser events to OpenAI and relays them to Convrail with the same event ID
Landing and referrer captureStores the landing URL and referrer in cookies so the order can be attributed at checkout, even when the referrer is gone
OrdersOn payment, the order is pushed once with the captured attribution (a _ocl_pushed flag prevents duplicates); the checkout event uses order_<id>
CatalogProducts and variations are mapped to the feed model and pushed in batches; a full sync can be triggered from settings
UninstallRemoves options and scheduled events; nothing is left behind

The plugin is deliberately thin: it never validates, batches or retries on your server, so it cannot slow down your checkout or fill your database.

Compatibility

  • WordPress 6.0 or later, tested up to 6.8.
  • PHP 7.4 or later.
  • WooCommerce with or without High-Performance Order Storage.
  • Works alongside your consent management plugin: the pixel reads the store’s consent state before firing.

Frequently asked questions

Does the plugin slow down my store?

No. It adds one small script to the footer and pushes orders and product batches asynchronously. Validation, batching and retries run on the Convrail platform.

Where are my OpenAI credentials stored?

On the Convrail platform, encrypted at rest. The plugin keeps only the bridge token needed to talk to the platform.

Does it work with the classic checkout and the block checkout?

Yes. Order tracking uses server-side WooCommerce hooks fired on payment, independent of the checkout type.

Is it on WordPress.org?

Publication is in progress. During early access the plugin is distributed directly; ask for it through the contact page.
